SNK ERP OCR is a mobile application that allows users to scan business cards and documents using the device camera, extract text through OCR, and create leads directly in an ERP system.

This privacy policy explains what information the app may collect, why it is needed, and how it is used to provide the scanning and lead creation service.

2. What the App Does

• Captures images using the device camera to scan business cards or printed documents.
• Processes scanned images using Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to extract text.
• Shows extracted fields such as name, email, phone, company, address, and raw text for review.
• Sends selected lead data to an ERP backend service for lead creation.

3. Information Collected and Used

3.1 Camera Access

The app requests camera permission only to enable scanning of business cards and documents. The camera feed is used locally in the device to capture images.

3.2 Photo Library Access

The app may request access to photos or media to allow users to choose existing images for OCR scanning.

3.3 Extracted Text

Text extracted from scanned images may include names, email addresses, phone numbers, company names, addresses, and other business card details.

3.4 ERP Lead Data

When you choose to create a lead, the extracted data is sent to your configured ERP backend. This data may include:

• lead name
• company name
• email address
• mobile number
• raw scanned text

4. Data Storage

The app does not store personal data on the device beyond temporary inputs in the form fields and OCR results while the app is open.

Data submitted to your ERP backend is stored according to the ERP system's own privacy and security policies.

5. Third-Party Services

The app uses the following third-party services and libraries to provide app functionality:

• Google ML Kit for text recognition and OCR processing.
• Permission Handler for requesting runtime permission dialogs.
• HTTP client for sending data to ERP APIs.

These services are used only to support scanning and communication features; no additional personal analytics are collected unless configured in the ERP backend.

6. No Tracking or Analytics

This application does not collect analytics data, usage tracking, or device identifiers by default. It only uses permissions necessary for core functionality.

7. Permissions Required

The app requests the following permissions:

• Camera: Required to capture images for scanning.
• Read external storage / Photos: Required to select an image from the device gallery for OCR scanning.

Permissions are requested only when needed and the user may deny them at any time.

8. Security

To protect your data, use secure HTTPS communication between the app and the ERP backend. Any ERP API credentials or secrets should not be embedded in published app code; they should be provided securely using server-side configuration or runtime environment variables where possible.

9. User Control

Users can choose not to grant camera or gallery permissions. In that case, scanning and image selection features will not work.

Users can also edit any extracted text fields before sending data to their ERP system.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy in the future. If changes are made, the updated policy will be reflected in this document and the app should display the latest policy if included in the app settings.
