For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, the words “us”, “we”, and “our” refer to Remizo and all references to “you”, “your” or “user”, as applicable mean the person who accesses, uses and/or participates in the Platform in any manner or capacity. 

Remizo is strongly committed to protecting the privacy of its users and has taken all necessary and reasonable measures to protect the confidentiality of the user information and its transmission through the internet. Remizo will not be held liable for disclosure of any information if such disclosure is in accordance with this Privacy Policy, and/or applicable law. If you object to your information being transferred or used in accordance with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Platform. 

Our Privacy Policy states that we do not share your Personal Information with any third party, unless it is to better the service we can provide back to you. Please note that this Privacy Policy does not apply to information we collect by other means (including offline) or from other sources. 

We list below the information we get from you and how we use it or may use it in the future.  

• Information We Receive from You  

• Registration Information: When you sign up and register with Remizo, you are required to provide information that could reasonably be used to identify you personally, such as your name, address, company address, e-mail address, date of birth, bank account details, permanent account number (PAN), and mobile number. 

• Other Information: 

• We receive data about you whenever you use or are accessing the Platform, including when you interact with the content and Services on our Platform.  

• We receive data from or about the computer, mobile phone, or other devices you use to access the Platform, including when multiple users log in from the same device. This may include network and communication information, such as your IP address or mobile phone number, and other information about things like your internet service, operating system, location, the type (including identifiers) of the device or browser you use, or the pages you visit. For example, we could request device information to improve how our apps work on your device. 

• We may also receive information regarding the details and transaction history in connection with your use of the Platform.  

• We may also get information about you from other sources. For example, if you create or log into your account through any associated service, we will receive information from that service (such as your username, profile information, and tokens) via the authorization procedures used by that service. The information we receive depends on which services you authorize and any options that are available 

• We may use cookies, web beacons, tracking pixels, and other tracking technologies on the Platform to help customize the Platform and improve your experience.  

• Most browsers are set to accept cookies by default. You can remove or reject cookies, but be aware that such action could affect the availability and functionality of the Platform. You may not decline web beacons. However, they can be rendered ineffective by declining all cookies or by modifying your web browser’s settings to notify you each time a cookie is tendered, permitting you to accept or decline cookies on an individual basis.  

(The Information that we receive from you as captured in Clause 1.1 and 1.2 are hereinafter, collectively referred to as “Personal Information”) 

• Sharing of Information  

• Sharing: Remizo will not be liable for transfer of any personal identification information resulting from loss or distribution of data, the delineation or corruption of media storage, power failures, natural phenomena, riots, act(s) of vandalism, sabotage, terrorism or any other event beyond Remizo’s control. Further, Remizo’s Privacy Policy does not cover the use of cookies by its partners and affiliates since Remizo does not have access or control over such cookies. 

• Consulting: Remizo may partner with another party to provide specific services if required. When you sign-up for the Services, Remizo will share names, or other Personal Information that is necessary for the third party to provide these services.  

• Data Transfer 

Remizo may transfer information that it collects about you, including Personal Information, to affiliated entities, or to other third parties across borders and from your country or jurisdiction to other countries or jurisdictions around the world. These countries may have data protection laws that are different to the laws of your country and, in some cases, may not be as protective. Remizo shall take commercially reasonable steps or safeguards to require that your Personal Information will remain protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy.  

• Security 

• Remizo takes the security of your Personal Information very seriously. Remizo protects your Personal Information from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction by using methods of security to secure all data that is collected from you. Remizo has put in place appropriate methods and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure Personal Information. It only processes Personal Information in a way that is compatible with and relevant for the purpose for which it was collected or authorized by the individual. The Platform allows users access their Personal Information and allows them to correct, amend or delete inaccurate information by writing to care@getbit.in and submitting a request.  

• Remizo uses commercially reasonable precautions to preserve the integrity and security of your Personal Information against loss, theft, unauthorised access, disclosure, reproduction, use or amendment. 

• The Personal Information that is collected from you may be transferred to, stored and processed at any destination within and/or outside India in accordance with applicable laws. By submitting information on the Platform, you agree to this transfer, storing and / or processing. Remizo will take such steps as it considers reasonably necessary to ensure that your Personal Information is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy. 

• In using the Platform, you accept the inherent security implications of data transmission over the internet. Therefore, the use of the Platform will be at your own risk and Remizo assumes no liability for any disclosure of information due to errors in transmission, unauthorised third party access or other acts of third parties, or acts or omissions beyond its reasonable control and you agree not to hold Remizo responsible for any breach of security. 

• In the event Remizo becomes aware of any breach of the security of your Personal Information, it will promptly notify you and take appropriate action to the best of its ability to remedy such a breach. 

• Third Party Content and Links to Their Service 

The Platform may contain content that is supplied by a third party, and those third parties may collect Platform usage information and other information when web pages from any online or mobile services are provided to your browser. In addition, when you are using the Platform, you may be directed to other websites that are operated and controlled by third parties that we do not control. We are not responsible for the privacy practices employed by any of these third parties. These other websites may send their own cookies to you, independently collect data or solicit personal information and may or may not have their own published privacy policies. When you leave the Platform, we encourage you to read the privacy statements of all third party websites before submitting any information to third parties. 

• How We Use the Information We Receive 

• We use the information we receive about you in connection with the Services and in connection with the features we provide to you and other users like your customers and people you already know, our partners, the advertisers that purchase ads on the site, and the developers that build the applications, and websites you use. For example, we may use the information we receive about you: 

• As part of our efforts to keep Remizo’s products, Services and integrations safe and secure; 

• To improve, personalize, and facilitate your use of the Services; 

• For processing and recording payment transactions, displaying prior transactions, developing new products and services, and delivering the information and support you request, including technical notices, security alerts, and support and administrative messages; 

• For internal operations, including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, research and service improvement. 

• Except as provided herein, we do not share any information provided to us by you with any third party (not being an affiliate, third party service provider or a group company of us) without your consent, except when directed by law.  

• We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk of our processing of the information we receive about you such as (i) only sharing and providing access to such Personal Information to the minimum extent necessary, subject to appropriate contractual restrictions including confidentiality restrictions where appropriate, and on an anonymized basis wherever possible; (ii) using secure servers to store Personal Information; (iii) verifying the identity of any individual who requests access to this information prior to granting them access to such information; and (iv) using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software or other similar encryption technologies to encrypt any payment transactions you make on or via our Platform.  

• We cooperate with government and law enforcement officials and private parties to enforce and comply with the law. Thus, we may access, use, store, transfer and disclose your Personal Information, including disclosure to third parties such as government or law enforcement officials or private parties as we reasonably determine is necessary and appropriate: (i) to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, governmental requests or legal process; (ii) to protect the safety, rights, property or security of Remizo, our Services, the Platform or any third party; (iii) to protect the safety of the public for any reason; (iv) to detect, prevent or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues; and /or (v) to prevent or stop any activity we consider to be, or to pose a risk of being, an illegal, unethical, or legally actionable activity. Such disclosures may be carried out without notice to you. 

• Granting us permission to use your Personal Information not only allows us to provide our Services as it exists today, but it also allows us to provide you with innovative features and services we develop in the future that use the information we receive about you in new ways. 

• While you are allowing us to use the information we receive about you, you always own all of your information. We don't share information we receive about you with others unless we have: 

• Received your permission; 

• Given you notice, such as by telling you about it in this policy; or 

• Removed your name and any other personally identifying information from it. 

• For information others share about you, they control how it is shared. We store data for as long as it is necessary to provide products and Services to you and others, including those described above. 

• Typically, information associated with your account will be stored in accordance with applicable laws after your account is deleted. For certain categories of data, we may also tell you about specific data retention practices. We may enable access to public information that has been shared through our Services. We may allow service providers to access information so they can help us provide Services. 

• We shall not retain Personal Information longer than is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected and as permitted by applicable law. Even after your account is terminated, we may retain your Personal Information as needed to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, conclude any activities related to cancellation of an account, investigate or prevent fraud and other inappropriate activity, to enforce our agreements, and for other business reasons. 

• Deleting and Deactivating your Account  

• If you want to stop using the Services, you can write to us at care@getbit.in and submit a request to either deactivate or delete your account. We will process your request and either deactivate or delete your account provided that there are no pending transactions in your account.  

• Deactivate: Deactivating your account puts your account on hold. People searching for it online will no longer find it, but we do not delete any of your information. Deactivating an account is the same as you telling us not to delete any information because you might want to reactivate your account at some point in the future. 

• Deletion: When you delete your account, information contained in your account will be stored in a manner and timeline consistent with applicable laws. You should only delete your account if you are certain you never want to reactivate it. Certain information is needed to provide you with Services, so we only delete this information after you delete your account. 

• If you have submitted information to us, you have the right to. 

• be informed about the information we collect from you and use;  

• obtain confirmation from us that your Personal Information is being collected and used by us and to access the information held about you by us;  

• have your Personal Information corrected if it is inaccurate or incomplete at any time;  

• erasure, or the right to be forgotten, which means you can request the deletion or removal of any information we hold about you at any time;  

• block or suppress us from collecting and using your Personal Information, which means we can continue to store your Personal Information but we cannot further collect or us it in any way;  

• obtain and reuse any information we hold about you for your own purposes across different services, which allows you to move, copy or transfer your Personal Information easily from the Platform to another place notified by you to us in a safe and secure way without hindrance to the usability of your information;  

• object to the processing of your Personal Information on legitimate grounds;  

• Any request received by us in relation to the aforesaid shall be acknowledged and we shall make reasonable efforts to respond to you promptly. 

• You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the information you submit to us, such as your contact information provided as part of account registration. If your information changes, or if you no longer desire to access the Platform, you may correct, delete inaccuracies, or amend information by contacting us through care@getbit.in  and we will acknowledge and take reasonable efforts to respond to you promptly. 

• Apart from sending communications to you with respect to the Services and your account, Remizo may send marketing and promotional communications to you. Upon initial communication from Remizo, you may opt-out of receiving further communications from Remizo. To be completely removed from our mailing list, you may contact us at care@getbit.in. If you are using an e-mail forwarding service or other similar service, please make sure to include the correct e-mail address or addresses. 

• Policy for Children 

We do not knowingly solicit Personal Information from or market to children under the age of 18. If you become aware of any Personal Information we have collected from children under age 18, please contact us using the contact information provided below. 

• Policy Updates 

Remizo reserves the right to update or modify any part of this policy or make any changes without prior notice to the user. Any changes will be effective immediately upon the posting of the revised Privacy Policy on the Platform. If we make any material changes, we will notify you by email (sent to the e-mail address specified in your account) or by means of a notice on the Platform prior to the change becoming effective. We encourage you to periodically review this page for the latest information on our privacy practices. 

• Application of the Privacy Policy 

• This Privacy Policy does not apply to any information other than information collected by Remizo through the Platform. This Privacy Policy will not apply to any unsolicited information provided by you through this Platform or through any other means. This includes, but is not limited to, information posted on any public areas of the Platform. All such unsolicited information shall be deemed to be non-confidential and Remizo will be free to use, disclose such unsolicited information without limitation.  

• Remizo also protects your Personal Information off-line other than as specifically mentioned in this Privacy Policy. Access to your Personal Information is limited to employees, agents or partners and third parties, who Remizo reasonably believes will need that information to enable Remizo to provide Services to you. However, Remizo is not responsible for the confidentiality, security or distribution of your own Personal Information by any of our partners, participating program or third parties which is conducted outside the scope of our agreement with such partners and third parties. 

• Grievance Redressal 

If you have any questions or concerns about this Privacy Policy, please feel free to contact us by writing to us at care@getbit.in or using the details of the Grievance Redressal Officer provided on our ‘Contact Us’ page. We will use reasonable efforts to respond promptly to requests, questions or concerns you may have regarding our use of Personal Information about you. Except where required by law, Remizo cannot ensure a response to questions or comments regarding topics unrelated to this Privacy Policy or Remizo’s privacy practices.
