As we gear up for the last month of 2017, here are a few updates from the month that just went by!
Early on in November, some of our social investors accompanied us on a field trip to Dharani Farmer Producer Organisation in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh.
Some of these social investors, like Aruna Vayuvegula had been supporting the organisation for years and the field trip allowed them to witness first-hand the impact their money was having on the ground. Here is a video from the field trip

On a Sunday morning on 12th November, we held the 'Run to Empower', a three-kilometer in the IIM - Bengaluru campus to raise funds for our mission to fight poverty. Many people turned up with their friends, partners, and children to run for a cause. Read more about the 'Run to Empower' here.

Many of us celebrate 14th November as Children's Day in India but did you know that 20th November is the Universal Children's Day?
We ran the #LeaveNoChildBehind campaign in November to raise awareness about the importance of education for children. We would like to thank all our social investors who have helped children from low-income families continue their education by providing the parents with low-cost education loans.

What is the value of an education? Can it bring social change? These are the questions that we attempt to answer through the story of Vijay, a student of the Sant Singaji Institute of Science and Management, an educational institution in rural Madhya Pradesh that our social investors support.
