Message from WICASA Chairman's Desk
CA Jitendra Saglani,
Chairman – WICASA WIRC
"Success is not final, failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts." – Winston Churchill
As we journey further into 2025, this quote resonates more than ever. In the face of academic challenges, professional pursuits, and personal growth, let courage be your constant companion. The CA journey is not merely a path to a designation, it is a test of endurance, consistency, and character. Embrace each challenge with determination, and let resilience define your stride.
March was a month of remarkable progress and purposeful engagement. We kicked off the month with the Articleship Launchpad held at BKC, which proved to be a tremendous success. It connected students with experts across the profession, offering placement opportunities and in-depth guidance to help navigate their articleship journey with focus and direction.
Our commitment to holistic development was echoed through the Women-Centric Fitness & Self-Defence Workshop, a high-impact session that emphasized the importance of physical well-being, personal safety, and empowerment. For our aspiring Chartered Accountants preparing for exams, targeted Revisionary Sessions for Inter and Final levels, along with a structured Mock Test Series, helped students assess their progress and refine their approach. These initiatives were designed not only to enhance academic preparedness but also to instill the confidence required to excel.
Another proud accomplishment this month was the success of our Articleship Placement Drive, which matched aspiring CAs with firms that resonate with their career aspirations. These initiatives serve our greater vision to bridge the gap between classroom learning and professional realities, ensuring that students are industry-ready and confident.
Following this, the Bank Branch Audit Seminar, a knowledge-driven session that provided practical insights into statutory audits. The seminar served as a bridge between theoretical concepts and real-world application, equipping students with clarity and confidence ahead of the audit season.
As we reflect on recent achievements, it is also a moment to recognize and celebrate new leadership. I extend my heartiest congratulations to the newly appointed Managing Committee Members of WICASA. Your enthusiasm and commitment promise to take this committee to greater heights. A special mention to our newly elected student office bearers Vice Chairperson Parth Khakhkhar, Secretary Sadaf Zariwala, and Treasurer Krutika Jain. Your leadership, creativity, and sense of purpose will guide and inspire many. We are confident that under your stewardship, WICASA will continue to thrive as a vibrant and student-centric platform.
Looking ahead, April brings with it a new wave of engaging events. From Gyan Yagna, to an AI Orientation Program that explores cutting-edge technology, the month is packed with opportunities for growth and exploration. Our calendar for the year includes an exciting lineup of technical workshops, webinars, and industrial visits, all curated to make learning practical, relevant, and deeply enriching.
As always, I encourage you to stay connected with WICASA. Follow us on Instagram and LinkedIn for real-time updates, student highlights, and inspiring content. Let these platforms be your go-to source for guidance, motivation, and community.
Dear students, remember that the road to becoming a Chartered Accountant is not easy but neither are you. Every effort, every late night, and every challenge you overcome is preparing you not just for exams, but for life. Keep striving for excellence. Stay focused, stay grounded, and know that we at WICASA and WIRC are with you every step of the way.
Warm regards,
CA Jitendra Saglani
