The fast pace of Indian economy was mainly driven by service sectors, mainly I.T, BPO ,etc. but now in recent past , the manufacturing sector has picked up enormously and currently foresees a growth in the range of 9% on year to year basis . The health care sector is one of the fastest growing sectors in this current market scenario, primarily due to heavy investment by Government and also backed by huge improvement in the availability of health – care services at every door step. However, a successful player in this field requires to be vigilant and sensitive to fast changing market scenario and have to take corrective measures almost instantly.

M/S Ornate Labs PVT. Ltd. Muzaffarpur has been successful in understanding these requirements, the changing face of the industry along with the basic prerequisites of high standards of quality products along with reasonable pricing and easy availability. This can be evidenced from the past performance of the unit of last 15 years where, despite facing adverse situations (both natural calamities & financial losses), they have survived and have now posted healthy profit in the last concluded F.Y. 2015-16. The unit is currently manufacturing and marketing more than 100 products and are in the process of bringing an equal number of new products. The company has its own quality testing lab which takes care of quality of each product. The quality of all products matches with similar product of all brands available in the market due to use of single beam photospectrometre, HPLC & Microbiology Lab, etc.

Management

The company has been promoted by Sri Sanjiv Rai and Sri Binod Kumar Thakur along with their relatives and friends. Presently, a core team of Two Directors, along with dedicated and technically equipped staff strength , having vast experience in the respective fields manages the unit. The Directors looking after the business are:-

The managing Director of the company, Mr. Sanjiv Rai is in this line of activity for over 18 years and has got huge experience to tackle various situations and also commands great respect among various Govt. Departments allotting big Govt. Supply orders and has also got good liaison in the market. He has graduated from Science stream and has worked up to the level of Zonal Sales Manager in top pharm a company before starting this unit.

The other Director, Mr. B.K.Thakur also has got experience of more than 20 years in the field and is presently looking after day to day operations and financials of the unit.

Thus, the Directors are very well versed with the field of Drug manufacturing and marketing and this vast individual experiences along with experience of last 15 years with this unit give them a definite edge over their competitor units. The company is increasing repeatedly in size due to following:-

• Orders for supply of medicines directly to Govt. Hospitals, Medical Colleges, District Headquarters dispensary, Railway Hospitals, etc.
• Widening of marketing area to whole of Bihar, Jharkhand, Assam, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh.
• Orders from various pharmaceutical companies to perform job works for them.
• Currently got new license to manufacture more than 200 products which will help a great deal in spreading the reach in market.

It gives me a great pleasure to write this letter to you and I request you to read the same. The name of Bihar conjures up an image of confusion, corruption and poverty .Bihar is perceived as a God Forsaken place by the people of the country and not to say about the people from abroad.

Over the years there has been no growth in Bihar as there is NO Industries and Job Opportunities here .Thus despite the fact that Bihar is probably one of the few state that has been bestowed by Mother Nature in plenty, yet Bihar is unfortunate not to be recognized with pride. I have seen people from Bihar mentioning their place of origin very apologetically. But, Sir I am born in Bihar and I am proud to be a “Bihari”. Bihar has been exploited by people from within and outside thereby giving a bad image to Bihar and people of Bihar too. It is this feeling and sentiment of mine that has made me start a venture of my own. I had openings outside the state of Bihar but I have decided to stay back and contribute to Bihar. It is with this desire and intention that ORNATE LABS PVT. LTD. has been formed.

ORNATE LABS is dedicated to the people of Bihar and will not cross the borders of Bihar.

I want to change the image of Bihar and therefore our plant has been set up at Muzaffarpur, equipped with qualified people and modern machineries, whereas we too had a choice of getting our products manufactured in Mumbai which enjoy a better image amongst the medical professionals in Bihar.

Sir let me assure you that our quality and presentation is as good as any other products as we abide by Pharmacopoeial regulations and quality control rules.Sir as a SON of the soil I want to contribute to the state of Bihar, my motherland, and change its image.
